The breakfast included a variety of options such as yogurt, fruit, muesli, coffee, tea, orange juice. It was a great way to start the day with a filling and tasty meal.

The private toilet in my room was not the cleanest and it was very small. Due to this inconvenience, I ended up using the shared bathroom.

It's a long way from the center and on top of the mountain. But if it's on the subway, it's fine.

I recently stayed at La Controra in Naples for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The hostel is conveniently located and provided clear instructions on how to get there from the airport/central station. The receptionist, Michelle, was incredibly friendly and helpful. We even got to take advantage of their Happy Hour, where you can get free food if you buy a drink and the food was delicious! The room was spacious and clean, with a private bathroom, good wifi, and a satisfying breakfast. I also appreciated the parking available inside the hostel.

The hotel is located near the Salvator Rosa metro station, making it easy to explore the city. And being situated at the top of a hill in an 18th-century monastery adds to its enchanting charm. All of this, plus breakfast included with fresh fruits and juices, made my stay absolutely delightful.

Plus, the communal spaces are cozy and inviting, making for great opportunities to meet new people.

One minor downside is that some of the shared bathrooms may require better cleaning.
